About Us

The Waipu Easter Carnival is a much loved annual event brought to life by a dedicated group of local parents and volunteers who are passionate about creating something special for our community. While the event proudly supports Waipu Primary School, it is truly a community wide effort - with families, local businesses, and supporters all coming together to make it happen each year.

What started as a way to simplify fundraising has grown into one of Waipu’s biggest and most anticipated events.

Today, the carnival is not only a major fundraiser for the school, but also a celebration of everything that makes our community so special.

Funds raised through the carnival go directly back into supporting the students of Waipu Primary School - helping to provide improved facilities, resources, and opportunities that benefit every child. Over the years, this has included playground upgrades, learning resources, sports equipment, and enhancements to the school environment. At the same time, the carnival plays an important role in supporting and showcasing our local businesses, vendors, and community groups, creating opportunities for them to connect, grow, and be part of something meaningful.

More than anything, the Waipu Easter Carnival is about bringing people together - families, friends, and visitors - to celebrate, support, and give back.
